 Wine Enthusiast VinoView Wine Cellar

To avail of the health benefits of red wine researchers recommend a maximum of two 150-mL glasses a day for men and one glass for women. Since a standard wine bottle contains 750 mL, a man following the recommended consumption will have more than half a bottle left. A woman will have more. Storing these opened bottles can be a problem if your wine cooler only holds wine horizontally. The opened bottles could leak. Fortunately, there are now a handful of wine coolers designed to hold at least a few bottles standing up. One of them is the Wine Enthusiast VinoView Wine Cellar.

Unique to the VinoView is the convex glass door that incorporates a shelf capable of accommodating four upright wine bottles. This can be used for your wine leftovers but be sure to seal them with preservation bottle stoppers. To instantly see what type of wines are these, or to showcase them, simply turn their labels outwards.

In addition to the four standing bottles, the wine cellar can hold another 31 horizontally in six chrome pull out shelves and one fixed rack. The top three are designed in a way that four bottles are stored perpendicular to the door with one that is parallel. These bottles are illuminated by a ceiling light plus 10 mini spotlights scattered all over the cooler interior.

The VinoView uses a thermoelectric cooling system that is quiet and vibration-free. It is eco-friendly as it does not use harmful chlorofluorocarbon refrigerants. This cooling system is capable of maintaining temperature levels from 54 to 66°F allowing the storage of white and red wines.

The cooler is painted with a glossy black and highlighted with a graphite door frame trim. It stands 29 inches high, has a width of 18 inches and a depth of 25 inches. Although its size would easily make it fit under your kitchen counter, this is not recommended as its vents are at the back. The heat produced may be minimal but a freestanding installation is recommended.
