With a beautiful hardwood exterior finished with fine rich walnut and a door decorated with metal lattice work and a grapevine decoration, the Vinotemp VT-Napa1 Wine Cellar can be installed not only in the kitchen but in any room in the house where wine can be enjoyed.
The Napa1 Wine Cellar has a capacity of 20 bottles resting on five scalloped wire shelves that keep them from turning over. The shelves can be pulled out for a convenient loading and unloading.
The wine bottles are chilled by a hybrid cooling system that has both a compressor using the refrigerant R134a, which is known to be the least harmful to the ozone layer among other refrigerants, and a solid state thermoelectric mechanism. As the latter system has a minimum of moving parts, it cools the wine quietly and with virtually no vibrations. Also, with this combination, optimum temperature levels are attained quickly and maintained with a minimum of energy consumption.
A knob mounted inside the wine cooler adjusts temperature levels to suit the type of wine stored. An interior light is installed providing illumination inside the cooler. This allows you to display your wine collection through the glass door.
The wood-framed glass door sits behind the metal décor. It is double-paned to provide superior insulation. Apart from this, it also protects the wine from the harmful effects of exposure to ultraviolet rays.
It would be a waste to conceal the lovely finish of the Vinotemp VT-Napa1 Wine Cellar under a counter. It is meant to be displayed in the open as a freestanding wine cellar. After all, with its measurements of 22.5″ W x 21″ D x 31″ H it will not occupy an excessively large area.
