Standing over 75 inches tall with a width of approximately 25 inches and depth of 30, the Vinotemp VT-188-BBW Wine Refrigerator has enough room for 160 bottles of your favorite wine.
All these wine are cradled on 15 metal shelves fronted with a wood trim. Divided into two temperature zones by a horizontal partition, the upper of these holds seven of the shelves while the lower has eight. The shelves consist of flat bar frames and round bars spaced in a way to prevent the wine bottles from rolling thus keeping the wine sediments from getting agitated. They can be slid out for easy of storage and withdrawal.
The dual zones allow the storage of different types of wine. You can keep red wines in one zone and set its temperature within a range starting from 55° to 65°F, and sparkling wines in the other zone and have them cooled to as low as 43°F. The adjusting buttons together with two digital temperature displays are mounted on the partitioning wall between the two zones.
A compressor and refrigerant guarantees consistent temperature levels, a feature necessary for the preservation of your wine collection as fluctuating temperatures often have an undesirable effect on the chemistry of the wine resulting to various faults.
The Vinotemp VT-188-BBW Wine Refrigerator has a black exterior cabinet, black glass door frame, and a black interior. It has a heat vent at the front, immediately below the door, which allows its installation as a built-in refrigerator. You can, however, opt for a freestanding installation.
The door frame encases two glass panes. These, in addition to allowing the display of your wine collection with the help of an interior lighting system, protect your wine from harmful UV rays. Further, they insulate the cooler’s interior keeping hot air out and cool air inside. On the door frame is a towel-bar type of handle that is also colored black.
