With three separate temperature zones, the Viking Professional Series Wine Cooler VCWB300RSS can store your favorite red, white, and sparkling wines at their recommended serving temperatures in a single wine cooler.
An Electronic Control Center sets the desired temperature level in each of the three zones. This ranges from 43 to 65°F, wide enough to cover the appropriate serving temperatures for most, if not all, types of wines. Once the temperature is set, the cooler continuously monitors and maintains it allowing only a maximum variance of 1.5°.
The Viking VCWB300RSS has a capacity of 150 bottles. It is large enough for commercial use but it is not unusual for serious connoisseurs to have even more than 150 bottles in their collections. There are 15 wine shelves that can be pulled out up to their full depth to make storage and retrieval easy. In fact, they are totally removable for ease of cleaning. A special coat is applied to them to absorb vibrations and keep the bottles in place. The fronts of the shelves are trimmed with maple which can be stained to complement surrounding cabinetry. Those at lower zone have their fronts raised for additional protection from UV rays.
The wine bottles in the upper two zones are shielded from UV rays by the tempered glass door. It is held by a stainless steel door frame that incorporates a door handle that is also in stainless steel and a locking mechanism for the security of your collection.
Inside is a lighting system that can be switched on continuously to showcase the wine bottles, or to light up only when the door is opened.
This 82-inch tall wine cooler requires anti-tip brackets and boards for its installation as it is top-heavy. Because of this, it is best that it is built into the kitchen’s cabinetry.
The cooler weighs 560 pounds and has a width of 30 inches and depth of 22 inches.
