More and more people are leaving the confines of their air conditioned rooms and spending time in their patios or around their swimming pools. Dining al fresco and staring and counting the stars can actually be very relaxing, especially with a glass of your favorite wine on hand. If you have friends over with you, you might want the whole wine cooler in your patio. With the Summit SPR60S2Z Outdoor Wine and Beverage Center, you certainly can.
This outdoor wine and beverage cooler is UL-approved for outdoor use. The back of the cooler is sealed to protect all electrical components. Also, a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) prevents electric shock.
The cooler’s exterior is made of 304 grade stainless steel and glass which are intended to defy the elements. It has a double leaf door that encloses two independently cooled zones. The doors, which are fitted with locks, consist of two glass panes framed in stainless steel. Towel bar-type door handles run almost the full height of the doors. At the top door frames are digital controls and LED displays.
One of the two zones of the Summit SPR60S2Z is intended for chilling bottles of wine while the other is for beverages. There are five scalloped chrome racks in the wine zone which can hold up to 15 bottles, while there are three flat shelves for beverages. The shelves can carry 50 cans when stacked on top of each other. At the bottom of both zones are trays that can be used to store and chill food.
The cooler uses a compressor to deliver different temperature levels to the two zones. A digital thermostat adjusts these temperature levels using the door frame-mounted controls and displays. An automatic defrost system prevents the build up of ice and excessive cooling.
The cooler has dimensions of 34″ H x 24″ W x 22″ D and is intended for a freestanding installation.
