Model WC06G is a small countertop wine cooler measuring only 14.5 inches wide and 19 inches deep. This means that its footprint is less than two square feet. At 11 inches high, it is about as tall as a full-sized microwave oven.
Within its small chrome-colored frame are two racks which can hold three wine bottles each. The cooler actually comes with two pairs of interchangeable racks –one scalloped and the other flat. The curved racks are meant to keep the wine bottles from moving around so as not to disturb the wine sediments, while the flats may be used when storing food or beverages other than wine.
A glass door that is smoked-tinted displays your wine bottles, which are illuminated with a soft blue light, and at the same time protects them from ultraviolet rays that could damage the wine.
With a temperature range between 44 and 64°F, the Koolatron WC06G can be used to store red, white, or sparkling wines, as well as champagne and dessert wines. Temperature adjustment is done through buttons located at the foot of the cooler. An LED digital display indicates the set level.
