A wine cooler that can store your favorite wines along with your favorite beer and the snacks to go with them is certainly a convenient addition to your bar, game room, private study, or kitchen. You can leave the huge kitchen refrigerator for your breakfast and dinner food and keep the alcohol and the finger foods in the cooler. One cooler that is intended for this is the KitchenAir Architect Series II Beverage Center KBCS24RSBS.
A distinguishing feature of the Beverage Center KBCS24RSBS is its three temperature zones where you can store different types of wines or beverages. The bottom zone is equipped with two wine racks. The middle zone is also intended for wines with a single wine rack. These three racks, which are trimmed with wood at the front, can accommodate up to 22 bottles of wine. Above these, in the upper zone, are two glass shelves where canned beer or soda, bottles of water, and snacks can be stowed.
Temperature in these zones can be set with a dial on the base grille. Three LED temperature displays are mounted on the divider separating the middle and lower zones allowing you to monitor the temperature levels in the three zones.
The cooler’s body features a smooth black finish with a stainless steel door frame. This frame encloses a ClearVue thermal glass panel door that is UV-resistant. A stainless steel door handle is mounted on the right side of the door frame. A variation of this model, the KBCS24LSBS, has the handle on the left side. The cooler’s interior is also colored black but is equipped with an interior light so you can display your wine collection.
As the vents of the cooler are at the front, it can be installed under the counter or as a freestanding unit. It stands approximately 34 inches in height, 27 in depth, and 24 in width.
