The Jenn-Air Beverage Center is a wine cooler that can either be freestanding or built into kitchen counters. The cooler cabinet is finished in black texture with a UV-resistant glass door framed in either black, stainless steel, or in an overlay of custom panels.
A distinctive feature of the Beverage Center is its three temperature zones. These temperatures can be adjusted with a simple turn of a knob at the base grille. This versatility allows the storage of white, red, and sparkling wine. You won’t have to worry about excessively low temperatures as the cooler comes with an automatic defrost system.
Three digital displays indicate the temperature levels in each of the three zones. A button on their left allows the switching of the display from Celsius to Fahrenheit and vice versa. Aside from keeping UV-rays from adversely affecting stored wine, the thermal glass door also helps keep temperatures down inside the cooler by blocking the entry of heat.
The Beverage Center can store twenty-two bottles which are laid down in three racks with fronts of stainable maple in its 5.4 cu. ft. interior. Ball bearings made of stainless steel enable the roll out of the racks. There are also two glass shelves where garnishes, foodstuff, and small beverages can be stored.
An interior lamp automatically lights up with the opening of the door. If you wish to showcase your wine collection, however, you can turn the light on continuously through an exterior manual switch beside the temperature control knob. Remember to turn it off after your display though, because the light could slightly elevate temperature inside the cooler.
The Beverage Center stands 34 inches high on four leveling legs that can be rotated to adjust to uneven floors, or if you just want to raise the front of the cooler for easier door closing. It is 23.75 inches wide and 24 inches deep.
