Haier is the world’s fourth largest producer of household appliances. Among its products is a Thermal Electric Wine Cooler designed for table or counter tops.
There are two versions of the Haier Thermal Electric Wine Cooler. One has a capacity of 18 bottles while the other accommodates 12. Apart from this and their outside measurements, they have identical features.
The cooling cabinet is black but you have a choice of three different trims –black, silver, or VCM. The recessed handle contributes to the simple straight lines of the machine. The door is made of clear insulated glass allowing you to see into the black interior with its three wire storage racks of full chrome. You don’t have to open the doors to see if you still have enough wine for your guests.
The wine cooler is powered by a thermoelectric cooling system, keeping the temperature within a range of 10 to 16°C. This mechanism is a solid state semiconductor device that absorbs and moves heat out of an enclosed unit thereby keeping it cool. One of the advantages of this device over a conventional compressor is that it is quiet and free of vibrations since it has no moving parts. It is also more environmentally-friendly as it does not use chlorofluorocarbons, or any other gas or chemical.
Because it is quiet and does not vibrate, you can put it on top of a counter, cart, sideboard, or buffet. Once you have decided where to put it, you can use the leveling legs at the bottom front of the cooler to straighten the cooler.
