Finished in glossy black with a glass door through which the stored wine bottles are clearly visible, the Haier HVTS04 Wine Cooler blends seamlessly with any type of kitchen décor or motif. With its dimensions of 6.5″ W x 21″ D x 17.5″ H, it occupies only a small portion of your kitchen or bar countertop.
The HVTS04 is a compact wine cooler with a capacity of four bottles. It is intended for small kitchens, or as a cooler for installation in your private study or bar supplementing the bigger cooler in the kitchen or the wine cellar in the basement. The bottles are cradled in three chrome wire racks and the bottom shelf. These are dished to prevent the bottles from rolling over and disturbing the wine sediments. A soft blue light illuminates and displays the bottles.
The glass door is framed in black but it is fitted with a curved stainless steel handle. It has two glass panes that help insulate the cooler, sealing cool air inside. At the top of the frame are the controls for temperature adjustment along with an LED display indicating internal temperature. This can be set either in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Also on the frame is the switch for the interior light.
A thermoelectric cooling system allows the setting of temperature levels from 46 – 65°F. This means that you can store sparkling, white, and red wines. Since the cooling system employs solid state technology, it is vibration-free, quiet, and energy-efficient. It is also environmentally friendly as it does not utilize harmful chlorofluorocarbons.
