A width of a shade less than 15 inches and a height of approximately 34 inches make the Haier HCVE15BBH Wine Refrigerator ideal for built-in installation under your kitchen or bar counter. It has a depth of about 23 inches. You can, however, install it as a freestanding unit if you prefer.
With a black cabinet and a stainless steel door, it blends seamlessly with most kitchen décor and appliances. The door is opened by a towel-rack type handle that is also in stainless steel. The wood trim of its shelves and the blue gray tint of its glass door add elegance to the wine refrigerator.
The cooler can hold 26 bottles of your favorite wine on five wire racks with wood trims at the front. These slide out on gliders making it easy to pull them out for storage and withdrawal of the bottles. An additional chrome storage rack is available at the bottom of the refrigerator.
A soft interior light provides illumination for the wine bottles, allowing you to showcase your wine through the full-view glass door. The glass door has the additional function of filtering UV rays thus protecting the wine. Also, it helps insulate the cool interior from warm air coming from outside.
The door is reversible and is equipped with an Auto Door Stop. This feature prevents any abrupt closing of the door which could jar the bottles and disturb the wine sediments.
Temperature level can be adjusted according to the type of wine stored. As red wines require higher temperatures than either white or sparkling wines, the refrigerator is fitted with an electronic temperature control consisting of touch buttons and a digital LED display. This is mounted at the top of the refrigerator.
Although the Haier HVCE15BBH Wine Refrigerator is cooled by a compressor, it operates quietly with minimal vibrations. It has no condensation and maintains humidity at 75%.
