Intended for commercial applications and serious wine enthusiasts with a huge collection, the EuroCave Comfort 266 Wine Cellar can accommodate as many as 235 bottles of your favorite wine. It is 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a width of 26 inches, and depth of a shade over 27 inches.
Standard shelving includes two adjustable and three rolling shelves. The former can be positioned at different heights but they cannot be pulled out, while the latter can both be adjusted and pulled out as they glide on PVC rollers. These shelves, along with the wire grid at the bottom of the cabinet, cradle your wine collection. As an option, you can install additional shelves, but this would affect the number of bottles that can be stored.
The wine cellar cabinet body is finished in matte black with a transparent glass door. You can, however, opt for a solid door should you prefer such. The door is equipped with a lock to secure your wine, and is reversible. With this type of finish, it can be at home in any kitchen, dining room, bistro, or restaurant regardless of décor.
In spite of its size, there is only one temperature zone in the cooler, having a range starting at 49° – 58°F. This allows you to cool either white, rosé, and red wines. The default temperature setting is 54°F, which is generally considered as the optimum storage temperature for wines. Before serving the whites, however, you may need to chill them further.
Setting the temperature is accomplished through the control panel mounted at the ceiling of the interior cabinet. It consists of an on/off button, confirmation button, up and down adjustment buttons, and a digital temperature display. These buttons control a compressor mounted on a stand in a way that minimizes vibrations.
