The EdgeStar Thermoelectric Wine Cooler TWR125SS is a compact countertop wine refrigerator that can store 12 bottles of your favorite wines, whether red, white, or sparkling, without losing their taste and aroma.
This wine cooler uses a solid state Peltier thermoelectric cooling system. This means that, apart from the fan, there are no moving parts in the system. This also means that it is quiet and vibration-free. The fan circulates cool air inside the cooler to eliminate any hot spot that may have been caused by the opening of the door. Also, it disperses heat outside the cooler.
With this cooling system, temperature levels can be set from a range of 50 to 65°F. Using manual controls, you can adjust the thermostat to suit the particular wine varietal in your cooler. In addition to the thermostat control, the wine cooler’s auto-defrost system also helps assure you that temperatures will not go any lower than your setting.
The cabinet of the TWR125SS is colored black which stands in striking contrast to the stainless steel trim of the door frame. Within this frame is a tinted double-paned glass door which has the triple function of protecting your wine from direct light, keeping cool air in and hot air out of the cooler, and showcasing your stocks with a little help from a blue-colored LED light inside.
The bottles of wine rest on their sides, as they are supposed to, on chromed racks which look like silver waves. These waves keep the bottles from rolling and disturbing the wine sediments in them.
The TWR125SS is a small machine, occupying only a small portion of your counter yet providing you and your wine huge benefits. It is only a little over 13 inches wide, 20 inches deep, and 18.5 inches tall.
