Danby DWC508BLS Wine Refrigerator

With heat vents at the front bottom of the Danby DWC508BLS Wine Refrigerator, it can be installed either as a freestanding unit or under your kitchen or bar counter. It is 33.4375 inches tall which is just about the height of a regular counter. Its width and depth are almost identical at approximately 23 inches, making a footprint of about 3.6 square feet.

There are six wire shelves that can be pulled out for easy storage and retrieval of wine bottles. A seventh shelf, which is fixed, rests on the bottom of the refrigerator. All seven are fronted with beech wood trim. In total, the Danby DWC508BLS can hold as many as 50 bottles of the 750 ml kind.

The wine bottles and the wood trim of the shelves are visible through a dual-paned tempered glass door. A soft LED light illuminates your collection creating a dramatic display without raising temperature levels inside the cooler.

The glass door also helps protect the wine from UV rays as well as insulate the refrigerator preventing the passage of hot air from outside into the interior. It is held in place by a frame made of stainless steel. This lustrous trim contrasts beautifully with the shiny black cabinet. At the top frame is the door handle which is also made of stainless steel.

Your wine collection is cooled by a compressor-and-refrigerant cooling system. An adjustable thermostat with a digital temperature display inside the cooler allows the adjustment of temperature levels from a range of 39.2° to 64.4°F. This means you can store virtually all types of wines in your refrigerator, from dessert and sparkling wines through whites, rosés, to reds.
