The footprint of the Danby DWC276BLS Wine Cooler is only about two square feet and thus it is perfect for kitchens that are challenged for space. Its width is a shade over a foot while its depth is less than two feet. And with a height of 34 inches, it is perfectly suited for a built-in installation into your kitchen counter.
The wine cooler’s exterior as well as interior cabinet is in black, in keeping with traditional wine cellars. The door consists of tempered glass that is bordered by a stainless steel frame. A cupped door handle which is also in stainless steel is mounted at the top frame. The door is reversible, giving you the option to have the cooler open at its left or right side. A locking device is integrated into the door to secure your wines.
The glass door is tinted to protect your wine bottles from UV rays that could harm them. At the same time, it is transparent enough to display your collection. An LED lighting system is installed within the interior of the cooler to illuminate your bottles giving them a soft glow.
Seven black wire shelves with a stainless steel front matching the door frame carry 27 bottles of the 750 ml kind. These are slide out types facilitating storage and withdrawal of the bottles, and are actually removable for ease of cleaning.
A temperature range of 39° – 64°F is guaranteed by the cooler’s compressor and refrigerant allowing you to store dessert, sparkling, white, rosé, and red wines. A digital thermostat along with an LED temperature display enables the setting of temperature levels appropriate to the wine in storage. A frost-free system assures constant temperature levels.
