Like a real maître d’hôtel attending to all your needs, the Danby DWC1233BL-SC Maître D’ Wine Cooler is always ready to provide you with properly chilled wine at any time.
It is a compact wine cooler designed to stand on a countertop, whether in your kitchen or bar. It will easily blend with any kitchen décor as it comes in a glossy black cabinet body and door frame surrounding a clear glass door panel.
Visible through the glass door are three chrome shelves with undulating racks. Each of these can hold three wine bottles while the bottom shelf can contain another three. The wine racks are designed with waves to keep the bottles and the wine sediments within still and quiet. Disturbing them could draw undesirable effects.
An interior blue LED light illuminates the bottles. As this does not exude heat, it does not affect the inside temperature. It can be turned on or off with a switch on the top door frame.
Temperature is adjusted by a thermostat with button controls also mounted on the top door frame. An LED monitor indicates the temperature level. Lowest level is 50°F while the highest is 64.4°F. This display can be configured to show temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
The Danby Maître D’ uses a semi-conductor cooling technology. This does not use refrigerants that are unsafe to the ozone layer. It is also quiet and free from vibrations.
With measurements of 13 3/8″ W x 20 1/16″ D x 18 7/16″ H, its footprint is just about the size of a microwave or convection oven, and it is not tall enough to reach up to your hanging cupboards.
