Even wine lovers will need, or at least want, to drink something else other than wine. Or they may have family and friends who do not share their enthusiasm for wine. Or they may have children who are too young for wine. It is for oenophiles like them that the Danby DBC2760BLS Beverage Center is built.
This beverage center has a height of 34.4375″, width of 23.8125″, and depth of 24.8125″. It is divided vertically along the middle to form two independent temperature zones, each equipped with its own door. The right side has four shelves available for storage while the left side has seven. Apart from the bottom shelves in both sections, all slide out and are trimmed with stainless steel fronts.
The four shelves on the right are intended for 355 ml-cans or similarly sized bottles. Together the shelves can carry 60 cans. The shelves on the other zone are meant for wine bottles. When properly arranged, they can accommodate 27 bottles of the 750 ml size. A true LED track lighting system provides a soft blue light shining on the bottles for a dramatic display.
As a dual zone refrigerator, you can set a temperature for the wines that is different from that of the beverages. Each zone has its own digital thermostat and an LED display for the adjustment of temperature levels. The wines and beverages are chilled by a compressor-based cooling mechanism. Its fan-forced cooling system controls the build up of frost on the cabinet walls.
The cabinet body is finished in glossy black. This is complemented with the stainless steel trims of the door frames encasing the two doors. The doors consist of tempered glass panes that are tinted to prevent the entry of harmful UV rays into the cooler’s interior. Curved stainless steel door handles are mounted close to the top of the door frames while locking mechanisms are installed on the top frames.
With front vents, the Danby DBC27650BLS Beverage Center can be built into your counter. There is nothing to prevent you, however, from installing it as a freestanding unit.
