There has always been a touch of class associated with wood furniture. The grains in the wood present beauty and complexity, whether they are basic, such as straight, spiral, or interlocked; or special such as bird’s eye, fiddleback, or quilted.
For this reason, the makers of the Capri 36-Bottle Thermoelectric Wine Cellar Console opted for a Mahogany hardwood veneer exterior for their wine cooler. The arched upper frame of the glass door and the brass-finished knob further lend elegance and style.
More than just looking good, however, the Capri Wine Cellar effectively and efficiently cools your wine collection using a thermoelectric cooling mechanism. This is done quietly, without vibrations, and, more importantly, without ozone-depleting chlorofluorocarbons.
Temperature level ranges from 54 to 66°F allowing the storage of medium-bodied whites, like Chablis or Semillon; full-bodied whites, like Chardonnay and Rhone; and all types of red wines, from the light-bodied Beaujolais, through the medium-bodied Burgundy, to the full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. The thermopane glass door helps maintain temperature by resisting heat transfer from outside the cooler.
The bottles rest on six solid wood shelves that can be pulled out for easy retrieval. These are slatted in a way that prevents the bottles from rolling thus leaving the wine sediments undisturbed. An interior light showcases the wine bottles and allows you to read their labels without having to take them out. For security, the door is equipped with a locking mechanism.
The back of the Capri 36-Bottle Thermoelectric Wine Cooler exudes only a minimal amount of heat yet it needs to be ventilated. Thus, it should be installed solely as a freestanding unit.
Dimensions of the cooler are: 32¾” H x 25¼” W x 22¾” D.
