The dual zone design of the Avanti WCR5404DZD Wine Cooler allows the storage of red, white, and sparkling wines in one convenient cooler. It consists of an upper zone that holds 14 bottles and a lower zone that accommodates 32 bottles.
Wine bottles are cradled on wood shelves consisting of slats spaced apart in a way that keeps the bottles from rolling on their sides. The fronts of the shelves are trimmed with wood. These glide on roller assemblies allowing them to be pulled which makes storage and withdrawal of bottles convenient. For ease of cleaning, they can be removed from the cabinet.
The cooling mechanism of the Avanti WCR5404DZD is based on a compressor. It can bring the temperature of the upper zone down to 40° – 55°F, levels which are suited for the storage of white and sparkling wines. The lower zone, on the other hand, has a temperature range starting at 55° – 65°F for your red wines.
A digital adjustable thermostat allows the setting of temperature levels in both zones. Touch buttons and digital LED displays dedicated to each of the two zones are mounted above the door frame for this. The display can be set to show either Celsius or Fahrenheit. An auto defrost feature means that the cooler does not require rigorous maintenance. An interior fan circulates cool air inside the cabinet to maintain an even temperature with no hot spots.
The cooler has a black cabinet exterior that is highlighted with a stainless steel door frame. The frame encloses a mirrored glass door which is made of dual panes to help insulate the cool air inside. This also serves the function of preventing harmful ultraviolet rays from reaching your wine collection. The door can be reversed to suit the preferred location of its opening. It is equipped with a long curved stainless steel door handle and a door lock to safeguard your collection. As it has vents below its door, it can be installed either as a built-in or freestanding unit.
The Avanti WCR5404DZD Wine Cooler has dimensions of 33.75″ H x 23.5″ W x 23″ D.
