Apart from looking good, it also chills your favorite wines and beverages to their proper storage or serving temperatures. It has a capacity of 40 bottles resting on seven scalloped shelves with a front trim of wood. These can be slid out for ease of retrieving bottles.
The cooling system is compressor-based enabling the WC400SS to reach lower temperatures. This makes it perfectly suited for chilling dessert and sparkling wines which require temperatures as low as 43°F. You can, of course, keep white or red wines as well. It has a temperature range of 40 to 65°F which covers all types of wines. Temperature is easily adjusted using one-touch digital controls mounted above the door frame.
The dual paned glass doors, in addition to showcasing your wine bottles with a little help from a soft interior light, also serve as an insulation barrier preventing heat flow into the cooling chamber. An interior fan circulates the cool air inside thus maintaining its even distribution. To keep the wine from getting too cold, though, an auto-defrost mechanism is installed.
A locking mechanism is incorporated at the upper door frame for your collection’s security and your peace of mind.
The Avanti WC400SS Wine and Beverage Cooler is a freestanding unit and should not be installed as a built-in cooler. The unit is delivered with its door opening on the left side, but should its placement in the kitchen require it to be opened on the right side, the door can be reversed.
The WC400SS has dimensions of 19.5″ W x 24.75″ D x 33.25″ H, and weighs 106 lbs.
