The blending of the black cabinet and the mirrored glass door of the Avanti WC34TM Wine Cooler Refrigerator spells elegance and a modern design. This makes the cooler better suited for modern kitchens, especially with its no-frills style, recessed handle, and boxy look.
The cooler features six wine shelves and one large storage bar at the bottom. Together these can hold as many as 34 wine bottles. They are made of chrome and are scalloped to keep your wine bottles still. Although they are removable for convenience in cleaning, they are fixed and do not slide out.
A light mounted at the top of the interior cabinet illuminates your wine collection for display. It is equipped with an on/off switch allowing continuous lighting. This is mounted at the top of the door frame alongside the Celsius/Fahrenheit button, which allows you to set the temperature display in Celsius or Fahrenheit, the LED temperature display, and the temperature adjustment buttons.
A control panel-lock feature prevents any accidental resetting of your desired temperature. Twelve seconds after you set the temperature, the lock is automatically activated. No changes can be made to the setting unless you press both the up and down temperature adjustment buttons simultaneously for three seconds.
Temperature levels can reach 39° to 63°F through a compressor-based cooling mechanism. Thus, you can store all types of wines, including dessert and sparkling wines, light- to full-bodied whites, rosés, and reds in the cooler. As this is a single zone cooler, however, you can’t keep bottles of Rhone and Sauternes at the same time.
The Avanti WC34TM Wine Cooler Refrigerator is designed to be a freestanding unit. It stands approximately 33 inches, and has a width of 19 and depth of 18.5, both in inches.
