Sporting a convex stainless steel door frame against the backdrop of a black cabinet, the Avanti WC30SSR Built-In Wine Chiller projects style and flair that is sure to make its surroundings look better than they really are. A curved door handle, also made of stainless steel, adorns the frame.
Visible through the glass door are the wood trims of five wire rack shelves, further enhancing the refrigerator’s elegance. The door is double-paned to keep cool air inside the refrigerator and hot air outside. It is also tinted to keep ultraviolet rays from damaging the wine.
There are actually six shelves but the one at the bottom is concealed by the door frame. The shelves are scalloped to keep the wine bottles from rolling over and agitating the wine sediments inside.
The upper five shelves can accommodate five Bordeaux or Burgundy bottles each, while the bottom shelf is designed to hold five Magnum or even Jeroboams, for a total of 30 bottles.
The bottom of the door frame incorporates a locking mechanism to secure your wine collection. Further below is an air vent with a stainless steel grille, which allows either for a built-in or freestanding installation.
The Avanti WC30SSR relies on a compressor with an automatic defrost system for cooling your wines. It has a temperature range of 40° to 65°F, thus you can chill all types of wines, including Champagne, Muscat, Pinot Noir, Beaujolais, Bordeaux, or Cabernet Sauvignon.
Controlling temperature levels is done through a soft touch control panel mounted just below the top door frame. It includes an LED display indicating the temperature inside the refrigerator, on/off button, up and down arrow buttons for temperature adjustment, and a timer button for time setting.
Dimensions of the Avanti WC30SSR Built-In Wine Chiller are 34″H x 15″ W x 25″ D, while its weight is 67 pounds.
