There are plenty of people who enjoy a glass or two of wine with their dinners. Or perhaps have been ordered by their cardiologists to limit their red wines to two glasses. For them, unfinished bottles of wine are common, to be brought out again next dinner. These wines need not lose their flavor and aroma, thanks to wine stoppers and Avanti EWC8TV Wine Cooler.
The Avanti EWC8TV Wine Cooler has a capacity of eight 750 mL wine bottles. Of these, six are cradled on their sides on two fixed chrome shelves and the bottom of the cabinet. These are scalloped to keep the bottles from turning over. The other two can be held upright in a bottle display stand incorporated at the back of the door. This is where you can put your unconsumed bottles. Avanti even throws in two bottle stoppers as a bonus.
The upright bottles are displayed through the clear glass door of the cooler. The glass is enclosed with a silver-colored door frame, which is a perfect match to the black cabinet body. A recessed door handle is incorporated within the frame giving it a clean uncluttered look. Also visible through the doors behind the standing bottles is the black cabinet interior and, if the interior light is switched on, the bottles lying on their sides.
An electronic temperature control with a digital display regulates the cooling output of the cooler’s thermoelectric cooling system. Owing to this system, the Avanti EWC8TV Wine Cooler is energy-efficient, silent, vibration-free, and environmentally friendly. Thermoelectric coolers have a minimum of moving parts and do not use ozone-depleting chlorofluorocarbons.
The Avanti EWC8TV requires an ambient temperature within 72° to 78°F to operate efficiently. Within this range, it can be set to a temperature as low as 46°F for your sparkling wines, or as high as 64°F for your red wines.
With measurements of 10.25″ W x 16.25″ H x 23″ D, the EWC8TV occupies only a small space on your countertop. It is not, however, designed for built-in or recessed installation.
