For wine collectors who have outgrown compact and medium-sized coolers because of their growing collection, the Amana Reflection W208CG Wine Cabinet is worth checking out.
Depending on the size of wine bottles stored, whether they are the standard 750 mL or magnums and Jeroboams, the wine cabinet can hold up to 208 bottles. These are cradled in 12 solid beech wood shelves that are height-adjustable.
The shelves can be used either as slide-out or storage shelves. When used as slide-out, they can each carry 13 Bordeaux bottles; while as storage shelves, you can stack up to three layers of bottles thereby increasing the cabinet’s holding capacity. Temperature range in this area is 50 – 57°F, a range suited for long-term wine storage.
In addition to the shelves there are also two other closed compartments, one at the top and another at the bottom, for wine storage. The upper section holds up to 13 bottles. It is intended to bring red wines to their proper serving temperature.
The lower section, on the other hand, is a chiller for cooling white wines and champagnes, as these are best when served at temperatures ranging from 6 – 8°F. Six bottles can be stored in the chiller. Thus, the three sections have their own temperature levels making the wine cabinet a triple zone cooler.
Temperature levels are adjusted through a control panel inside the cooler. It is mounted at the topmost section, and it consists of an on/off switch, test button, thermostat setting controls, and temperature displays.
The cabinet is finished in stainless steel. The door consists of a clear glass which provides a full view of your wine collection. It is framed in stainless steel. A towel rack type door handle, also of stainless steel, is fitted at the door’s right frame. Leveling legs are installed at the feet to cope with uneven flooring.
The Amana Reflection W208CF Wine Cabinet is 6 feet tall, 27 inches wide, and 23 inches deep.
